Job Description


  • The Oil Demand Analyst collects data via extensive communication and analyzes factors affecting and influencing global oil demand for crude and petroleum products for each region.
  • He/she forecasts the world oil demand using quantitative tools as well as expert judgment and prepares, on a monthly basis, the sections on world oil demand for the monthly Oil Market Report.
Requirements

  • Applicants must be nationals of Member Countries of OPEC and should not be older than 58 years. 
  • A minimum of eight years (six years in case of advanced degree)
  • Training/specialization: Energy Economics as well as quantitative techniques and forecasting methods; knowledge of oil market developments

  • African Rollout (i.e. Centralized Architecture for channel rollout into other African countries)
  • Integration to external systems, parties and networks
  • Examples include Integration to Processors/Switches (MasterCard, VISA), Bank Host interfaces to Postilion, Bank Host Migration
  • Obtain a good understanding of the Customer’s technical architecture
  • Provide support and resolution to clients in accordance with the Service Level AgreementsPerformance Management Responsibilities
  • Project completion versus Project plan
  • Quality of implementation of projects
  • Quality of support and resolution of issues for clients
  • Customer satisfaction surveyCommunication Responsibilities
  • Provide site visitation reports, project status reports, time sheets or project completion documentation
  • Review and summarize miscellaneous reports and documents; prepare background documents as necessary

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education Qualification:A good degree in any subject
Professional Qualification:Not mandatory but recognized
Experience1-2 years minimum experience in a similar function
